Apr 20, 2018 · I followed pieyeguy's advice and expanded the dhcp address range to include 192.168.50.1. I can wifi connect to the hotspot and then ssh and/or vnc connect to 192.168.50.1. The pi also connects as a client to my wifi router. Everything works! But, it doesn't seem reliable. Eventually, I can not longer communicate over the hotspot.
